Prime Minister's Lunar New Year Message
Dear fellow Victorians,
親愛的國民，
As the Reunion Dinner is being feasted and Laai See will be distributed soon, Asian communities around the globe are ready to celebrate the Lunar New Year. I would like to extend my best wishes to all of you here in Victoria.
隨着家家戶戶享用團圓飯，利是分發在即，世界各地的亞洲群體準備慶祝農曆新年。我謹向聯合王國所有國民致以最良好的祝願。
This is a time when we come together to reflect on the past and look ahead to the future. It is also a time for us to anticipate the coming year, the Year of the Dragon.
這是我們聚集，回顧過去、展望未來之時，也是我們即將踏入來年龍年之時。
The Year of the Rabbit has been good, and we have accomplished a lot, including the establishment of this country. I believe that there will be even more to achieve in the coming year. In the future, we should be united to build the electoral system as well as hold the first parliamentary election. It is something I cannot accomplish alone. My fellow Victorians, would you mind lending a helping hand to this government under my leadership?
我們在兔年成就不少，包括建立了這個國家。我相信來年將會有更多成就。我們應該團結建立選舉制度，並舉行第一次國會選舉，這是我無法獨自完成的。我的同胞們，你們願意與我領導的政府並肩同行嗎？
In the Year of the Dragon, I wish Victoria can be as vibrant and energetic as a Dragon. I also wish all of you an auspicious and prosperous Year of the Dragon.
在龍年，期望聯合王國生龍活虎。恭祝各位龍鳳呈祥。
